Best prime rib I've had. Brock was an awesome server. Creme Brule was also fantastic. I would not recommend the mac and cheese. They used dialing pasta, typical for macaroni salad. And the cheese was watery. I definitely recommend for service and prime rib.

I had dinner with my family friends and my family the past couple of times. We’ve had good service and the staff continues to keep bringing a good attitude to the way they treat the customers. The food is good and there’s plenty of options to choose from. The atmosphere is small town feel and representing the classic style and feel you get from walking inside. The desserts are delicious. They know how to make everyone feel comfortable and they’re apart of a family. Keep up the good work

Delicious! We first tried it 28 years ago and have not been back in the area for a long time. One of the few restaurants I’ve been to with great food, varied menu, large portions, friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere, and good prices. There are not many places like this.

Found this gem of a restaurant recently when I was searching for 2 specific side dishes. I had driven past many times but assumed that it was an expensive steakhouse, like others in the area. I was pleasantly surprised when I looked at the menu and saw the prices. I ordered a couple of sides, mashed sweet potato and creamed spinach. Both ended up being exactly what I wanted at a fraction of the price of what other restaurants in the area charge. The quality was excellent, portions were good size. These weren't reheated prepackaged items that I have had at some other places. They also included some biscuits for me to try. I'm not generally a fan of biscuits, but they explained these were drops biscuits, not the traditional ones. They were light and fluffy and slightly on the sweeter side, as well as moist. Really liked them and will order in the future. Went back yesterday and got some clam chowder to go and was not disappointed. Looking forward to trying some of their entrees and sandwiches from their extensive menu. It's nice to find a place that is independent that's reasonably priced and high quality. Everything seems to be a chain these days, or an expensive steakhouse.

Not crowded. Waitress Hollie B. Was very attentive to our needs. Reason for the 4 stars on the food was like most of the restaurants we try the main course comes out before we finish the salad. Which means the food starts cooling down before you get to it.

I came here with my parents just before Christmas. Our waiter was Livia. She was attentive, friendly, and treated my parents well. I had a simple meal: salmon and broccoli, but there are lots of options for everybody. The biscuits were just right: a little flavor but not too much butter. This is a good go-to in Franklin.

A spontaneous Friday night meal turned into a tasty surprise. We haven’t been to the Chop House in more than a decade and although the dinning area could use a remodel the food was delicious. I had the shrimp and crawfish over red beans and rice and it was better than I had expected. My wife had the medallions on mashed potatoes which was my favorite dish in the past and it was delicious as always. Our server was incredibly sweet and very attentive which made our night even better.
